MLSA- Women’s Foundation of MT

The Montana Women's Financial Literacy Project will work to assess the need for financial literacy in Montana, as well as to determine the best way to achieve a high rate of financial literacy and take first steps towards achieving it. This VISTA project will assist with the release of the Status of Women in Montana report developed in year 1 of the project, partner with the Montana Financial Education Coalition (MFEC) and other organizations to increase the level of financial literacy through development of financial literacy programs and resources, aim to support the SAFE (Securing Access to Financial Education) pilot project in Gallatin County, and develop the curriculum and facilitate creating of a new financial literacy program for young women.
