Women’s Protection & Empowerment Deputy Director

Reporting to the Senior Director, the Deputy Director will have both internal and external facing responsibilities, ranging from quality assurance (high-quality country level programming with a cross-disciplinary focus, overseeing specific research components related to programming), to extending the reach of IRC programming (business development) to administration (information technology, and reporting,), to human resources (supervision, mentoring, career progression). Externally, the Deputy Director will establish or continue relationships with key UN entities and sister organizations. The Deputy Director will partner closely with the Senior Director to ensure programming is done in a way that incorporates the intersections of health, economic empowerment, justice, and child protection. The Deputy Director will have a key role in helping to chart future growth and strategic responses to an ever-increasing demand for the IRC.
