LA’s Mexican Consul General to Improve Financial Literacy

Financial literacy professionals are buzzing today about the announcement by Carlos Sada, the consul general of Mexico in Los Angeles, who said he plans on improving education for Mexicans in California, especially helping more Mexicans become financially literate.  There are roughly one million Mexicans throughout eight counties that the consulate of Mexico of Fresno serves.  Sada’s work could offer a solution for improving a currently challenging situation in which many Mexicans are facing difficulties managing their debt, preparing for retirement and handling their financial affairs generally.
