Prudential just announced that it will roll out a financial literacy initiative at the 2013 MegaFest Expo.  The Expo, which has had over 700,000 attendees since its inception in 2004 and has included notable speakers such as Aretha Franklin and Steve Harvey, will be hosted for the first time in Dallas.  Among the elements of Prudential’s offering at MegaFest will be panel discussions featuring budget coaches and financial experts who will discuss topics ranging from retirement planning and investment strategy to savings plans and debt elimination.  Prudential also will be hosting a local financial literacy workshop that will be run by financial professionals to local residents of Dallas to assist in one-on-one sessions.  You can find more information about MegaFest here.
