State Bank of Pakistan Stresses Mobile Network Operators to Devise Financial Literacy Programs

The Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, Yaseen Anwar, stressed upon banks and mobile network operators to promote branchless banking for the benefit of the unbanked and underserved people of the country, as well as to develop financial literacy schemes that provide basic learning and educative experience to their customers.
