Miami Dolphins and BankUnited Score Big With “4 Downs for Finance” Program
BankUnited, one of the largest banks headquartered in Florida, announced its continued support of its partnership with the NFL’s Miami Dolphins, including to take financial education to new heights with the “4 Downs for Finance” initiative, which encourages students in grades K-12 to access age-appropriate money management education.
Under the financial literacy program, students are taught a broad range of savings, budgeting, and other money management strategies, including how to earn money by getting a job, save money according to a budget, and be goal oriented.
The program has been successful and has enjoyed key support from BankUnited since the initiative’s launch three years ago. This year, BankUnited will also sponsor Finsiders 5th Quarter, the Miami Dolphins’ regular season postgame television and radio show.
